How does role-based access control work?

SKUuz implements five roles with increasing privilege levels: Client (view-only access to assigned products), Operator (can edit products and generate content), Manager (can manage imports, exports, and publish operations), Admin (full access to data model, settings, and user management), and Owner (admin plus billing, plan management, and organisation settings). Each role inherits the permissions of all lower roles. User assignments are managed from the Users page in Settings.

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SKUuz follows industry-standard security practices: all data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Shopify and WooCommerce tokens are stored encrypted. API keys are hashed at rest — the plaintext is shown only once at creation. Each organisation's data is fully isolated. Supabase Row-Level Security (RLS) policies enforce that users can only access data belonging to their organisation. Shopify webhook payloads are validated using HMAC signatures.
